Culture Dynamics leads this MIT Center for International Studies working group, supported by a grant from MIT CIS, examining how arts and cultural practices developed in response to crisis and change can inform cooperation, adaptation, cultural diplomacy, and international policy learning.

Through comparative discussion across countries and regions, the group examines arts and cultural practices that have developed in response to challenges including climate extremes, water, health, and conflict. It explores how the principles and forms of knowledge embedded in these practices can inform contemporary approaches to cooperation, cultural diplomacy, and international policy learning.
