Nebus Kitessa
Nebus Kitessa is a student researcher in mechanical engineering and product design at MIT, originally from Ethiopia. His work examines design as a way to connect engineering, computation and human experience, and as a medium for storytelling and cultural expression.
He explores how cultural values, histories and identities can inform engineered objects. In the Culture Dynamics studiolab, his project investigates cultural heritage in product design, including how people perceive and interact with products that carry cultural meaning.
